If you feel uncomfortable I understand but I just thought most people would find the following pictures interesting. They are pictures from my MRI. So I got a B in my PHY111 class and I think these pictures make it clear that I deserve an A! :) It was a really hard class and I had a serious headache during a major test and the final!
There goes my full tuition scholarship to BYU! Maybe they have other scholarships for girls who had tumors taken out...we will have to see! Either way I am happy to be alive and I am happy that I got mostly A's! This semester was extremely hard for me!
This tumor also explains why I kept falling asleep in my Ancient Civilizations class! All my notes are covered in drool! :) I am glad I had awesome classmates this semester!
Can you spot the tumor? If not, I have an awesome eye doctor! :)

Tara!! I love you :)
Hi Tara,
We learned of your blog as my husband and your dad & uncle work in the same industry. We are proud of you for your attitude in such a trying circumstance and in spite of your discomforts. You will continually remain in our thoughts and prayers. Though different circumstances, we have walked a similar road. If you ever need anything, we are here. May you have much peace and comfort as you own this tumor!
Hugs from Utah,

Wow! That sucker is huge. The Huish family, though I don't know them, have a touching, but sad story. They are the friends of one of my friends. I am so glad things are going better now. I think you deserve the A too.
Hi Tara,
I'm a friend and coworker of Cammie Poulsen. She told me about your situation and I thought I'd leave you a message.
I'm 26 years old and when I was 21 I underwent surgery to remove a Pineal brain tumor. I had similar symptoms as you- tired ALL the time with daily headaches. It was impossibly to get through my first year of college without feeling tired every second of the day. I just KNEW something was wrong!
Soon after I was diagnosed I underwent surgery to remove the tumor. It was in the deepest, most center portion of my brain. I was terrified that something so deep would be inoperable, but I found the best doctor in the world! If you are in the process of doctor hunting, I strongly suggest going to Dr. Robert Spetzler at Barros Neurological in Phoenix. He and his team are the best in the world. They've operated on Saudi Arabian royalty, John McCain's wife, and numerous other people from around the world who have heard about all about his miracles.
Recovery was long and rough, but I'm alive and healthy today. I know you're probably scared and don't know what to expect, but keep your faith and know that everything will be okay!
Feel free to email me or call me if you have any questions about your surgery or recovery! I know it's tough asking people questions who have never been through it, so don't hesitate to ask someone who has! :)
Best of luck,
Kenny Warren

Tara I love you! You are such an amazing inspiration to me! keep on smiling and know that my family and I are praying for you, your family, and the Bodrero's!
Tara, you must be awesome! Two reasons: One, you are best friend of Becca (hard, I know) and you are so positive through all of this! Thanks for helping us all put our lives into perspective and good luck with everything including the wedding. Josh is a lucky man... P.S. I'm Becca's old room mate! :)
Tara, you need to show these pictures to Dr. Jacobs!! See if he will change your grade! Haha, just kidding I don't think that would work at this point. But seriously, you should be proud of yourself for getting a B, you worked hard for it!!! I don't think I could have done it if I was you. I know you could have gotten an A if you didn't have these headaches, but its not your fault. You had no control over the situation. So don't worry about it!!! Be proud of what you have accomplished this semester. Besides, me you and Kimberly had some good times in that class!!! I will never forget them. Hope you are feeling better.
Tara,
I bet you already know this, but we think you are pretty AWESOME!! Keep up the positive attitude. Always remember to keep your Trust in the Lord! and another one...S.M.I.L.E. (Spiritually Minded Is Life Eternal)! :)
Love ya,
Kerisa and Boyd
Tara, your attitude is amazing! I actually think there are some scholarships available for people in your situation! I love the updates, thanks for posting. Please know your vt's are always thinking of you & praying for you! You rock!
see? i knew i should've lent you my sunglasses sooner in class! hahaha
I always fell alseep in my Histry 202 class. The teacher always turned off the lights and talked with a boring voice as he went through slides. I don't know how anyone stayed awake in there. Of course staying up late every night didn't help my chances any. :)
My Mom forwarded me the ward emails that were sent out. I wanted to let you know that my husband and I fasted for you on Sunday and we've been praying for you and your family. I'm so glad things are going well and are under control as best as they can be. I think about you a lot and we'll be praying for you and the surgeons this next week!
Yea for early wedding pictrues, btw! That is such a great idea.
We love you!!!
